I'm just comparing the performance of the song on all the rock charts it charted on. Canada Rock was one of the 4 rock charts it charted on that I know of.

What I don’t care about is comparing them to other pop punk bands and making it appear as though Green Day are lacking in some way and aren’t one of the biggest rock legends in the world that’s still performing right now.

YEAH!   What we really SHOULD care about is who among US has streamed the song more.    Anybody wanna play?   I think I've streamed it on Spotify roughly 87 times but I get documents if challenged.  Haha

It is so cool how TADIKM is being treated differently by Austria's biggest radio station in comparison to the singles Bang Bang (played not a single time since its release) and Father of All (played only one time in the middle of the night).

Today in the morning they announced that Green Day will play Nova Rock festival in the radio show with probably the most daily listeners nationwide and shortly after, they played TADIKM and they announced it as Green Day's next "Oberhit", or in english their next "top hit".

my impression on the streams is that people prefered to play the TADIKM video in the first couple days, then migrate to spotify, this migration happened to LMNB soon than expected. but now we have this low on both songs

TADIKM is losing the consistency it had for the first 11 days as it continues to drop in terms of daily listens. Meanwhile LMNB also seems to be losing streams at a faster rate than TADIKM. The songs may still end up being listened to a lot by Green Day fans when the album comes out, if people appear to enjoy it as much as they did RevRad. If there's a 3rd single released before the album release, a song which could still have the potential to be a decent hit for them, maybe it could be as successful as Still Breathing?

They have a pretty good track record with ballads, so releasing a more emotional song as the next single would definitely make sense. Blink did it and it worked out very well for them. I checked Spotify and apparently, Still Breathing is Green Day‘s most streamed song post 21CBD and among their most streamed songs in general. While that one isn’t really a ballad, it’s definitely a song that has an emotional and somewhat melancholic vibe to it. If Father to a Son ist this album‘s BOBD, WMUWSE or 21 Guns, it would definitely make sense to release it as a single. TADIKM and LMNB  might profit from that, too.

Yeah that's why I said Still Breathing. Because that has been their most successful single post 21CB. I don't see them releasing a single that does as well as 21 Guns or any of the big singles from AI.

Never underestimate the power of a good rock ballad yeah ordinary world didn't quite light up the sky but if they're to have future crossover success I believe it will be a ballad
