Killick Posted July 18, 2023 Posted July 18, 2023 I found these notes on this site about the fight with Mike and the 3EB guy... http://bfs.greendayauthority.com/tour/show/504/ I was at the show and remember it clearly, also up in the lawn we had built a bonfire and the circle pit was chugging around it, people jumping over it, and we were refuelling it with wood from the security booth that had gotten torn down. I had seen them prior at Lollapalooza '94 (I think?) which was probably the most memorable gig of my life, they played during the day and people were hucking mud before it was cool (Lollapalooza reunion reference). The pit wasn't sardine packed where if you lift your feet off the ground all of a sudden your crowd surfing. There was enough room to dance and people were having SO much fun. Then the Beastie Boys took the stage as the sun was going down and I have a memory of the crowd lights during Sure Shot pulsing that is just burned in my head. Then the Smashing Pumpkins came on and everybody left. I'm sure these have been posted before but was anybody else on here at those gigs? \ Quote
