No further information on release date of a single or album, they just introduced the song, played it, and moved on. But this is definitely step 1 from more to come!

MTV was launched in 1981, I think it’s quite clear the song is about a girl seeing a music video for the first time and how it changed her life.

I was thinking that it reminded me of the 1995 meth shows where 2 minute songs turned into 90 second songs live.

It did seem like it. I noticed that Billie looked like he forgot some lyrics at one point and looked down, probably looking at a lyric sheet

Yes i'm sure of this, i can hear it too. Probably is Jason white singing a backing vocal, the melodies are good
