Post your predictions for the gd world in 2023. Here are mine:

- the album comes out later in the year and is seen as mostly decent

- the festival biggest hits run continues with even bigger festivals

- Mike’s wife somehow manages to go even more fash

- the new album contains at least a couple vague call to action songs but they’re well received because we get nostalgic for revrad

- Billie keeps talking about leaving the USA but visibly does nothing to do so

I’m not one for conspiracy theories but I think @Beerjeezus has been got at by @That Dude.  This thread is their diabolical plot 😂

Green Day will release a sequel to a much beloved tune, and it will be called October Sucks Too.

Mike and Tre will take a step back, with the new album being created by Jillie Bow all alone.

It's a bleak, yet fun diatribe about being old in America and of course, how you can't get over your ex from 40 years ago or whatever.

The new album will be called Green Day BINGO and the listener will have to sift through hard to understand lyrics to find words that will allow them to get bingo.

Oh and each album will have a different bingo card as the cover.  It's all very stupid and expensive.

The winner will not get their prize until 2037 and will be very disappointed as it's a broken Pukey statue rolled up in a really old BJA special, a 2 dolla blunt.

They hinted at a money prize but never followed through.

But the music.....that dude loved it.   Said it was their best since FOAM.

This one is an almost sure win.

My other Insta related prediction is that when he comes back, he’s going to have another awkward interaction with someone, scrolling back and liking posts. If he gets called out on it he deletes immediately.

I predict by years end in 2023 we will have a new Green Day album, a new BJA solo album, a new side project and a new collab with some edgy little unknown artist because Mike and Tre don’t work too hard anymore and Billie can’t sit still

- Album art will be quasi political

- A few quasi political tracks

- At least 2 songs leftover from the FOAM era make it on this album 

- Critics give it generally favorable reviews (besides some super harsh scores)

- Fans don't know what to think of it at first, but most like it after a few months

I think Album 15 is going to be like FOAM and Warning and Tre (the album) had a baby in the pit where T-1000 died and, but with sad, gut wrenching lyrics that also show a soft side to wrangling oompa loompas to make chocolate for your factory.

A song about the titanic where Mike compares it with his uh....butt. 

Track three gives people epileptic fits but they love it.  Like a wet epileptic fit.   And the shakes.

Beach Boys vibes but with a St Anger snare.

A Stunt By Barenaked Ladies haunting feeling, but If you are doing 1 poind of yeyo by The River by Good Charlotte by way of By The Way of RHCP. 

Really poppy.

Kind of country. 

And totally on topic because it will sound just like 1972.

Police sirens.  Every song will make you feel like you're getting pulled over and going to jail.

And them people clapping because you are a menace. 

Bow guitars all the time, 24/7.  St. Anger snare 25/9 and Mike Dirnt getting high and doodling like he did on Longview the entire album.
