E-40 is one of the longest rap artist in the Bay Area started in 1986 he has invented a lot of the slang still used today one of the first rap artist to own his own label and music and in the last 20 years has ventured into wine alcohol and food

I agree, Tre was a big fan of late 80s/early 90s gangsta rap (he's mentioned it plus all the lyrics of Like a Rat Does Cheese are taken from gangsta rap songs lol), it's overdue!
