A fine performance and the sound is good, but it sounds almost exactly like the studio version. There's just not a lot to say about it. It exists. Has anyone else changed their mind about purchasing a physical version of this? I just want to hear the unreleased stuff and that's what's most important to me. I truly feel the same about live albums, they don’t do much for me. I collect them cause I’m a collector but don’t find myself listening to them often. I’m mostly excited about Nimrod cause aside from being my favorite album, we get a lot of rareties and cool packaging. 4 Quote
Flashback Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 Do we already know who mixed the anniversary album? Because Chris Lord-Alge mixed the original. Would be cool if he mixed the anniversary as well Quote

I think Green Day live albums are great for 'lookout era' songs, so we can hear them with better quality recording mix and sound... Either with some songs like Minority or good riddance that are very different live 3 Quote

And that's cool. For me, I love the variations you get from live shows. I suppose having seen the band live, it's not just the music, it's the atmosphere, the guys around you, the sounds, it's just GD and you, and you and GD. Nothing else matters, nothing else exists. So listening to them live at home takes you back there. So yes, looking forward to hearing new songs and demos from album, but also can't wait to hear the live tracks too. I'm just crazy I suppose. And no, I can't wait to get my physical copy, another GD album to treasure. Along with all the others CD's more valuable than all the crown Jewels in tower of London. 3 Quote

I get that excitement from video releases of live concerts. Watching something like BIAB or even AAF makes me feel more immersed than listening to a live recording. Still, it's always cool to have official live releases of older songs and deep cuts. 2 Quote

Looking at the song credits on TIDAL, the "You Irritate Me" demo has Chris Dugan listed as an "audio assistant" and Chris Bellman as the mastering engineer. Bellman was the original mastering engineer for the album. Not seeing any credits yet for the live "Nice Guys Finish Last." If I had to guess, those tracks were already done, or were newly mixed by Chris Dugan. 2 1 Quote

Tried to order as guest for both CD and Vinyl and got same delivery info. Same delivery date on GD's official site. Will keep monitoring for any change. Quote

Not sure why the nearly two week wait when pre-orders normally ship on release. Quote
