Omg now it’s only costing me $20 with my credit card points 😄 I can’t believe the vinyl set is so much more expensive. I get that it would be more but over three times more?

I wonder if the number of pre-orders is what allows Amazon to lower the price. You would think scarcity would make a price go higher but also bulk volume sales means a product can sell for less. So is this an indication the presales are selling well?

Yeah I thought this was another release where I would get both formats but when I saw how expensive the vinyl was I decided only CD was just fine 😂 the yellow version I got of Nimrod on vinyl will suffice.

I find the CD to be expensive as well to be honest. If I'm going to pay high end I'm going for the vinyl every time.

I don't see much availability in Canada to order. I see Amazon US had it but not Amazon CA. I probably won't be buying this.

I love that they're starting to unleash the vault (their contract negotiations of the past year or so probably will permit more of this) but I'm not going back to buy old albums I already have at these prices. The value just doesn't match for me personally.

I can listen to the demos on Spotify. I already have the Nimrod CD.

I think next they should do a double-vinyl of AI and C&V. That would be awesome.

Thanks!  I knew I needed more eyes on this to get it right.      Do Da Da is a weird one.   Looks like it was recorded between Insomniac and Nimrod, and was included on the Brainstew/Jaded single.

Very strange.

I think they didn't release something on Dookie besides the Woodstock lp (if it counts on something) is because they know there are a lot of stuff out already in bootleg form and they don't have nothing "exclusive" to make profit.

In the same way, I wish they had the vision to see that they have a lot of promotion material ready to sell but something stops them to do it so. I mean, the jannus landing 94 is ready, barcelona 94 is ready, they had the chicago show sleeping for years. Woodstock video is a nightmare of licensing but is there too.

If exclusivity is the mark to release or not release, they are losing a lot because there's nothing greater than a package with goodies inside to celebrate a record. This new comp sets the bar really high for the next one. I know they can do something even bigger with Warning if we get there...

At least now we have something in a good level. I just can't wait to hear those demos

You mentioned the '94 Jannus Landing as part of the Dookie tour. Can I ask, I have dl called Live Tracks March 11, 1994 Jannus Landing. 6 tracks Welcome to Paradise, One of my Lies, Chump, Longview, Burnout, 2000 Light Years Away. I assume that's only partial release of the show? Released March 25, 1995? Thanks

Yes. The show appeared on several boots (you can find 'em in the DL section) missing the last song. The dat containing the whole show was sold like 4 years ago in ebay and probably Reprise know that.

On my copy of the CD single they wrongly spell it as Cristy Road. And instead of live at Jannus landing, it's spelt Jannuf. Hay what if it's just my copy, it could be worth millions 🤪

I think it's easy to tell which songs on Shenanigans are from Insomniac sessions because Jerry Finn is credited.

I don't like the modern (Broadway) versión of when it's time, but i love that 1992 live one with Mike harmonies... Hope this nimrod demo it's Closer to the second one. Lot of expectation with that and knowledge live with horns

They changed all the lyrics as to not be "too irresponsible".

I just spent some time writing this horrific edited version but I just erased it.     It was too cringe even for me.   Tre Cool was literally plowing a field for an old lady, Green Day was promoting Spotify and basically nothing rhythmed anymore.

F(woo).

I am now listening to Nimrod because I want Spotify to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that THIS is the kind of music I want to hear.
