I'm just coming into this conversation, so sorry if this is out of context. When Billie Joe was not playing his guitar on stage, Jason took over lead on guitar as you said. This I'm sure was all planned to allow Billie Joe to interact with us.

I think the most amazing GD show I've ever been to, is Milton Keynes for the AI tour. Yes, Billie Joe would sing and play his guitar. Then he'd stop, go to one end of the stage lift up his arms, and the crowd complied. He did the same on our side. He'd run up and down the stage. Talk to us again issuing further instructions, our conductor our boss because he is Billie Joe. All part of the set, without it the show would be incomplete. I hope he does it again.

He probably say whatever he wants of what he remembers but I can almost guarantee they either forbid phones or lock em in a case green day have kept this project under wraps a long time I'm sure they wouldn't want spoilers but never underestimate the power of a determined leaker let's just say they better check certain body cavities lol

I think green day know this album is important that's why rob and Chris are back at the helm they can't afford another flop this late in their career they need something fans will remember

Just assuming because the music director of 91X was there, no videos/photos have surfaced of a ‘show,’ and the woman from 91X confirmed it wasn’t for the music video.

St Jimmy is the alter ego of the Jesus of Suburbia, so he didn't really die.  "in the states of mind.  It's my own private suicide"    When we leave J and Amanda, he's come home and wondered how Amanda's been.    And after telling him to get lost, we don't know what happened to her.
