August 2016. Bang Bang. Topped rock charts for 7 weeks.

November '16 Still Breathing. Topped rock charts 2 week and Alt' charts 5 weeks.

oh the recaps wasn't for you. I @ you because you said on Greenday.fm that GDC was down because they were doing an update on the logo.

Has anyone asked Green Day if they could pay the GDC bill?  I mean, we are basically praising them 24/7 so they should be honored to keep the lights on for us.  Now I am wondering how much Billie makes an hour if you broke his pay down like that.  Hmm.  Could be an interesting YouTube video.   Anyway.   

Pink is cool and all, but like Blink...there will be blue involved heavily.

I'm thinking that the poker chips don't have directly have anything to do with the album. I do think that they're about to start a new era and announce it/drop a single, but it seems pretty obvious to me what they're doing with the poker chips. It's gotta be a club show happening in Vegas in conjunction with the when we were young fest. The parallels with the show at the metro in Chicago when they played Lollapalooza last year are uncanny. The caption of the post gives it away too.  We're definitely getting an announcement next month though. I think the color scheme ties into the new album and the Green Day is awake website, so I'm assuming that they're going to use their headlining slot at the festival (and club show) as promotional leverage for the album announcement.

I wouldn't specifically expect something on the 1st with it being a Sunday (unless it's a tease), and nobody drops any news on Sunday because it's a terrible marketing strategy, but definitely watch what happens within the first week of the month. And if not at the beginning, we're for sure gonna see some announcements in October. At least before the when we were young festival.

I was skeptical before, but at this point we can be sure that isgreendayawake is legit. The pink is the exact same as the casino chips. That is no coincidence.

I'll never understand why some green day fans feel the need to shit talk blink182. Its never the other way around.  Im not even a blink fan but im happy the band got back together and are making seemingly good music again. Whenever gree  day fans shit talk blink it feels really bitter and sad.

It's a coincidence. There was some new D Generation merch made to raise funds for Sweet Relief Fund, following Jesse Malin suffering a rare spinal stroke. He's one of my favorite artists and I hope to god that he'll be able to walk again.

It absolutely is not true that blink fans never shit talk Green Day. Blink fans on the blink subreddit were so mad at Green Day because apparently Mark asked them back in 2019 if they wanted to tour together and they said no (probably because they would've already agreed to tour with FOB and Weezer at that point)

In 2 days, it's Louder Than Life. Will they play 1981 again? Hope there's no tech' probs again. Will they play another song from new album?

Then 5 days after that  Dookie 30th is out.

And a day after that it's October, I wonder. A single maybe, what will it be?

Holy shit. Got that feeling again. Like when GD are about to come on stage. You start to breath heavier, your heart starts pounding, your mouth it all dry, and you start to get that adrenaline rush. ❤️
