greenday.stuff Posted October 19, 2023 Share Posted October 19, 2023 I have been thinking a lot about the possibility of a full club tour before they kick off the world tour for this album. Similar to what they did for rev rad. I have a really strong gut feeling that it might actually happen, and I think I might have just found something. For some reason I felt the need to go check out 9:30 club's instagram. It's a historic venue in DC and they played there in the 90's and on the rev rad club tour. They posted some shows that were just announced 12 hours ago. "Surprise! at the club!" either February 18th or 19th. It's gotta be Green Day. Timeline makes sense too with the album coming out in January. Maybe I'm just getting my hopes up, but I have a really strong feeling about this. There aren't usually ever surprises. They'll just announce it later instead of putting on the schedule. Anyone wanna help me look into this? If anything, I think he was talking more about those 5 minute songs that don't really change a whole lot during the course of the song. Something more in the vein of 21 Guns or Oh Love.
