A little info about the movie:
They won best screenplay at the Tribeca Film Festival. 
The movie will be out this Friday (as the song), it's 1h30 minute long and have a rating of 6/10

Storyline: Newlyweds, reluctantly decide to give ethical non-monogamy a try as their lives get increasingly complicated.

Yeah so basically a little indie movie on par with Ordinary World. I wonder if someone involved was a friend of the band’s and asked them for a song I can’t imagine they had the budget to license anything major.

I wonder why they're doing these single track releases since HCTS. Maybe they're trying to change their sound but also trying to see which sounds the fans are more favourable towards. Like, people seemed to prefer Pollyanna to HCTS so maybe this song is a continuation of that sound more than FOAMF or HCTS? I'm not sure cause I don't think they really care all that much about what anyone else thinks of their music, as long as they like it and are enjoying what they're doing

Since the pandemic Green Day and Billie Joe gave us a lot of good and less good shit!! But I don't care at least they're still fucking around.

This is all a taste if that new freedom they have under Warner. Be prepared for a hodgepodge of music, random singles, EPs maybe an album or not. It’s what they wanted to do.

I really missed those times when GD released a lot of tracks on soundtracks or B-sides for singles. I'm hyped for this new song!!

Of course all the exciting stuff happens as soon as I go offline! I am excited for this. I mean, it's a song for a movie soundtrack so I am not expecting their best work and as others noted the title is kinda cheesy, but again, written for a movie. This may well be in line with some of the NHL releases. Still always good to have new music though.
