Rumpelstiltskin2000 Posted September 8, 2021 Posted September 8, 2021 https://www.instagram.com/p/CTk9gTnnHKW/?utm_medium=copy_link I wonder which show this is from?
That Dude Posted September 8, 2021 Posted September 8, 2021 Perhaps Green Day's next album should be called Lick It Down, where the band wears face paint. Or maybe masks. I have a gut feeling Green Day would look good in masks. Probably because of my theory of reality that Green Day are actually in Slipknot.
desertrose Posted September 8, 2021 Posted September 8, 2021 posted the same on their facebook wondering which show. Would you look at that Our live version of "Rock and Roll All Nite" by KISS from the Hella Mega Tour drops on Friday
pacejunkie punk Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 A teaser for a live album would be great

Then they would be copying the Network who I’m sure would sue those Green Day fuckers
Slave To The Network Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 They said at my show (the last one in Seattle) that the whole thing was being filmed. They said they didn't know what would come of it yet, though. I hope we will get a pro-shot release! That would make me soooooo happy!
greendepent Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 Probably is not from a date in specific but a collage of the best takes

For them to even say that they must be hoping to do something substantial at least
BilIie Joe Armstrong Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 It’s soooo corny but that fits h*lla m*ga
The Grohl Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 May the rock gods bless us with a new Green Day live album/DVD 🙏
pacejunkie punk Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 I hope this is the version where Billie says “I can’t hear you!” In a high falsetto
RedundantIdiot Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 I didn't know about this song before the tour, but it fitted into the setlist perfectly. It was hilarious that he had the lyrics for the song in front of him! I hope that they'll put out a live album/DVD from the tour but I don't see them doing it until after the Europe leg of the tour.
legendary Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 Already heard and It's amazing Looking forward for a new GD live album... and please, with Green Day only, not a Hella Mega DVD.
GreenDayItaly Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 Here's a preview if you're interested ( from Apple Music AU ) https://music.apple.com/au/album/rock-and-roll-all-nite-live-from-hella-mega-single/1583937857
Guest Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 Oh no, I wish they had recorded Sweet Child O Mine cover! *insert sarcasm here* 😂 Anyway, this is a super news. I love this version! And yes, let's make another live album, please
That Dude Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 The first time Weezer and Fall Out Boy appear in a Green Day music video? And playing a KISS song? Hella Mega.
GuitarPunk94 Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 honestly, i dont even want another live album with their current hellamega setlist, it would be pretty lame

Their probably is something in the works. A live album or concert film would be great.

It would be like salt in the would that is the lack of proshot RevRad era footage

It would be like salt in the would that is the lack of proshot RevRad era footage Yup, a gaping wound really and the truly ridiculous thing is, though they were also somewhat stale, RevRad setlists still had more songs that weren't already on BIAB and/or AAF. The Hella mega tour setlists on the other hand simply add Pollyana, Rock n Roll All Nite (KISS cover), Knowledge (Operation Ivy Cover) and Still Breathing... that's it RevRad setlists (depending on where of course) might have added Christie Road, Letterbomb (the first two already being AAF bonus songs to be fair), Scattered, Armatage Shanks, Knowledge (Operation Ivy Cover), Forever Now, Still Breathing, Bang Bang, Revolution Radio, Youngblood, Ordinary World, Nice Guys Finish Last etc. (there were more occasional deep cuts depending on the gig). So, as much as I've been asking for a new live album over the years, I've gotta say that that at least for now, setlist-wise, a Hella Mega live album would be beyond stale...
pacejunkie punk Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Song sounds great, really captures the energy of the live performance (no falsetto though damn). Still, it’s a lot of fun. Green Day always slay with their classic covers
