Looking for Billie Joe Signature Les Paul Junior for Sale Listings

Gibson have posted about the new versions themselves now on their social media accounts. I bought the sunburst one from the original collaboration Billie had with Gibson. I still have it but it's not a guitar I actually like. It looks great but honestly I preferred the sound from my Squire Stratocaster.

Exciting to see the new signature line finally released, they look great! Looking forward to hearing how they sound.

While we’re on the topic, something I’ve been wondering about for a couple of years now that I hope @foxborohottub could lend some insight - what’s the likelihood of another Reverb x Green Day garage sale in the future?

Hello! Can someone link or point out what is considered to be the best BJA model to date?

Hmm. Maybe the highest quality and highest-rated most sought after edition?

I am not sure.

Personally I love the first edition Gibson from the mid-2000s with the Billie Joe signature on the back of the headstock.

I want one but they’re so expensive and rare to find now.

I think the only significant differences are the pickups. The 2018 model has Humbuckers, the others do have P90 which are hum-reducing. In comparison to the current regular model, these have classic P90. The shape is quite similar now. The BJA models used to be a bit closer to the shape of the 1950s model, but now the regular Juniors do have this shape again I think.

@foxborohottub has there been any update on the potential for a second garage sale?

I had almost given up hope on the Reverb sale! Hopefully they’ll drop a preview of the shop before it goes live on the 18th. Really interested to see which instruments the guys make available this time around.

I would say the first edition.

For my junior I just chose to go with a regular LPJ. There’s not really any major differences. There’s a few minor differences but for me it didn’t really affect me.

Also by walking away from the signatures I was able to get the colour that I wanted. I wouldn’t trade my tobacco burst LPJ in for any other colour. Although the first edition BJA LPJ sunburst is also really nice.
