I think the snippets are too short to make judgements on, look at how IIAN changes.

Good point

All of these sound surprisingly promising to me. If we heard 10 second previews of Money Money 2020 Pt. 1 there's a good chance I wouldn't be super impressed by any of it. This is sounding like it's going to be their White Album.

was this on purpose or did we just have our first leak link get nuked?

I’m surprised by how positive your impressions of the snippets are. I except this to be another album that’s first and foremost meant to be a fun listen.

I love most all of the snippets so far, for the record. Very excited for Friday.

Sounds like Cancer Is The New Black has it's hook or whatever sung by The Snoo and then Fink starts to sing the verse, so maybe that's the case with other songs where it's not just dedicated to one person. Hopefully we get a song where all three contribute equally on the vocals.

All six.

Jason has such a nice voice and I only realized that recently when I listened to California

I'm thinking I should switch sides. I've always been one to side with The Network (because fuck Green Day), but I want to know what it's like being a loser (also known as siding with Green Day).

But I don't wanna side with some guy named Dill Doe Limpfoot (affectionately called 'Dilly'). He just sounds like a loser.

Jason is awesome in Pinhead Gunpowder and California but Big Cats was a snooze fest.   If there ever was a time for a double album, that garbage sure wasn't it.

That's the one band in Green Day lore I can't get behind.

Can someone teach me how to do the ''Shazam technique''?

You use Shazam on a song that has an audio preview available. To get the track list, I used the previews for The Prophecy, Threat Level Midnight, and Tarantula.

Shazam gives you a link for sharing which gave me the following 3 links.

https://www.shazam.com/track/547222278

https://www.shazam.com/track/547222248

https://www.shazam.com/track/547222263

I noticed that the numbers were close together so I manually changed the last few digits ranging from 547222150 to 547222350 which allowed me and a few other users to find the 25 songs on the track list.

Some of the songs were outside of the range I searched and were not found until more audio previews were released. For example, Heard Immunity was number 547222753 and was found not found until the audio preview for Degenerate, number 547222757, was released.

The same method should work if you're looking for another artists' unannounced track listing.

i don’t know if I ever checked Big Cats out, but it’s disappointing to hear this. I’ve been very excited by Cali

Thanks for clearing that up. :)

Too bad artist I'm interested in still hasn't released any tracks or teasers yet, but I see it coming soon. I'll try it as soon as something pops up.

I figured I'd try and find a good one from them tonight instead of totally bashing them.

"All I Can Do" from On Tomorrow is okay.    But yeah, still having the same problem as I did back in 2012.   The songs are extremely tame, basic and vanilla.  It's what you would hear from a guy in a coffee house at 2am where his girlfriend and some drunk guy are the only ones clapping.     :(

Sorry Balducci - I mean Jason of the Big Cats.   It's well produced but not my cup of tea.

Have you checked out The Influents? They’re really good

Off topic but my favorite Jason White group is Step By Step. It’s actual punk, not soft like Big Cats or Influents were.

I’ll give them a listen too! I haven’t been paying enough attention to Jason.
