The Network has never claimed to be Green Day. Why would they want to be three thumb-sucking Americans? 

In fact, it was Green Day who started saying that they weren't The Network (after many fans started speculating). The only way we know anything about the Green Day/The Network feud is from that Jillie Doe Armcrack guy and his weird friends bitching about it.

Who's to say we've got the real story? For all we know, these Green Day guys could be lying about everything so they don't seem like the bad guys.

I still do not believe the Foxboro Hot Tubs are Green Day.  

I think Billie heard about them sounding the same and he just trolled the crap out of us.  

The real Tubbies are so anti social, they were a studio-only kind of band.  And they were also straight edge and very, very Catholic. 

I also think it's possible the Trilogy was recorded entirely by them and that's why you Green Day fans didn't go for it.

What if all the new Network, along with Viva Death and the likes, suddenly vanished from the internet and they were never heard from again?   

I think that would be pretty wild.   

Being The Network, they could probably hack my cdr that I already burned so I could blast The Network and Viva Death all over the land.
