Boom Box and Cassette box set

Who has the boom box and Cassette box set that was out a few years ago? And was it any good? How did it sound? Was it worth the purchase?

I read somewhere that some of the cassettes in the set are pitched differently then the original. That's the main reason I didn't end up purchasing it. I'm wondering is this is true or not?

Also the boombox looks like the radio shack one that's like 30 dollars. I'm also wondering if it's the same cheap boombox I seen? It's looks pretty much identical.

I've not got it, but its a boombox for a cassette bundle, its not gonna be great quality. The leather case is the only really cool thing about it for me. Can pick up cassettes pretty easily as well as boombox or a walkman.

It was too expensive for me. It's something I would like to have in my collection, but I have to find it at a good price.

It was too expensive for me, and then when I did get around to ordering it, Warner double-charged me, had to file a dispute with the bank, cancel the order, and then when I got my money back and went to re-order, it was sold out. Still pretty pissed about that

Thought it was really cool, but never bought it. Too expensive, and would realistically never get practical use from me.

It was $250 and some of the cassettes didn’t even have lyrics on the j-card. That’s what really pissed me off. Plus, I only wanted it for the five albums that haven’t been released on cassette. I have all the other cassettes. And some of the layout designs were absolutely horrible. Why did they make the 21CB cover sideways?

There was one available when Green Day had a pop-up shop at 1234 Go! Records in Oakland a few years back. I didn't have enough funds at the time. Had I known it would be come this scare I would have just put it on a credit card or something...
