trambopoline Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 Someone posted this blue copy of uno on /r/greenday. Does anybody know anything about where it came from? It wasn't listed on discogs.
BilIie Joe Armstrong Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 It was just faded or misprinted. The person posted more pictures and The back was green

solongfromthestars Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 It's definitely an interesting find since no one's seen that misprint before. If Green Day were still as famous as they used to be it'd probably be valuable.
Karl Karlson Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 Never seen or heard of this one. The further comments say only the front and spine is different -> just been in the sunlight for too long. The pink (reds) wouldn't be as affected as the greens.
Todd Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Greens sun-bleach easily. If it’s just the spine and front, then it was definitely left out in the sun. The spine is a different piece of paper than the front cover. Wouldn’t make sense that those are both blue while the back (same paper as the spine) is green. Anyone can make their own blue Uno if they want Here’s my not-special sun-bleached 1039
Yosuke Hanamura Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 It’s actually interesting that you bring this up. While going through a collector’s website, he showed that his South African pressing of ¡Uno! had a blue CD.
michael1989 Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 I don't have anything to add to this conversation but I just wanted to chime in to throw some love iUno!'s way. Most underappreciated album of theirs. In my top 3 GD albums.
Lenny Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 You fools it's Truno! 16 hours ago, michael1989 said: I don't have anything to add to this conversation but I just wanted to chime in to throw some love iUno!'s way. Uno only really started getting hate after Dos and Tre dropped and it became cool to hate the trilogy Uno actually debuted with better response and sales than Rev Rad.
BilIie Joe Armstrong Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 I thought it was meh on first listen, then it grew on me a bit, but then Dos came out and I never looked back #teamDos

The Grohl Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 I think Uno is the best out of trilogy. Dos is okay and aside from Brutal Love Tre is so fucking forgettable.

I agree I think objectively Uno was probably the best Green Day record of the bunch but I thought for me personally the great Dos moments are some of the best stuff from the trilogy. Tre on the other hand had was so talked up and made us believe it had potential to be a big closer on the trilogy for the band. Looking back to 2013 I would have said Tre was the worst GD record. I think it still stands like that for me today. How I felt about the trilogy based on the band's words was that Uno is more a standard GD record (good mix of energetic tracks with some good elements of warning), Dos was the party record so even though it was messy my expectation was for it to have great rock n roll tunes but I did anticipate the mess. I never expected that album would connect them with a lot of people I think it was more for those who wanted them to rock. Basically here's some gems with energy those who appreciate it will understand. Tre was talked up like it was gonna have hit singles and be "grandiose". I mean coming off of 21cb and using the word "grandiose"... was I wrong to anticipate them to push it forward a bit there? The trilogy was like watching a bad hockey game. Your team comes out like battering rams in the first period. They come out in the second the game gets tied. They come out in the third and get demolished. You leave angry cause you just invested 40+ mins to be disappointed.

Brutal Love, Missing You, X-Kid, and 99 Revolutions are so good that they carry the album and make up for the weak songs like Drama Queen, Walk Away, and the Forgotten. Everything else is filler. 8th Ave Serenade and Dirty Rotten Bastards are high-quality filler, but still filler.
That Dude Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 This will be Green Day's 14th album. As we saw with FOAM, the band has simply ran out of usable album art. It's called Nefarious Ice Douches and you guessed it. It's a concept album. set in hell, at the banks of hope on a river of piss and vinegar. The first single will be Bratwurrrrst (Troublemaker II)
