I'd add Junkies On A High in there but otherwise I totally agree. That's the only slower paced song that works on this album imo

Troubled Times would sound great with Junkies On The High type of sound

Without @That Dude, FOAM would be 20% less fun.

Well I feel like I'm owed royalties now.    20% of all Green Day sales or something.   I'll text Billie and see what the deal is.

I think your message won't get through Frank Storm, his personal assistant

Frank Storm was the "storm" mentioned in the chorus of "Still Breathing".

The line could be a direct reference to Frank beating Billie to a bloody mess OR a symbol of Billie metaphorically bleeding FROM another person.

What other songs talk about storms or bad weather?

I'm in for nasty weather!   There's one.   I'm sure there's more.

The American Idiot movie is dead, but perhaps we could get a movie that encapsulates the band's entire body of work.    American Idiot was just Chapter 7.

Now I downloaded this app which tells your apple music statics so I found out this album has the number one play time with 416 minutes and GD is #1 as an artist but total play time is 666 minutes so I listened to the songs on that album more than all their other songs. I always listen to whole album back to front anyway so there is no any particular songs I listened most probably but still surprised when I found out but I always think it’s really easy to listen unlike their other albums so it also proved that lol

It's an ok EP. I think FOAM has the same problems as the Trilogy just to a lesser extent. Both lack quality control, they've both got some awful songs but both could be so much better with a few tweaks.

I got in touch with Frank and this is what is happening:

DUDE STORM!   The incredible super group formed by Frank and I.     The power of Green Day combined with homemade production and outsider poetry for lyrics.

Billie has yet to comment, but I think he's anxious to get in on this action.  We may let him sing a verse or two.   No more than that, Frank is a little huffy that his cousin Tre hasn't gotten to sing much on Green Day records.

That Dude on guitars, vocals, keyboards and harmonica.

Frank Storm on reporting, guitars, drums, bass and, synthesizers, baseball bat,Farfifsa, fiddle, banjo, oboe, raddles, baby ukulele and xylophone, production, raw meat, sunglasses and piano.

With no big rock albums coming out this year, FOAM will be the best album of 2020.....even if you don't like it.

Haha.

I'm extremely sad about Weezer not releasing Van Weezer.    I feel like it would have been a return of epic porportions.

2020 already looked lousy for albums.  Now it looks apocalypticly bad.

2020 has been pretty bad for albums but All Time Low's new album has FOAM beat for album of the year for me. Also hoping the new Asking Alexandria album will be good enough to at least come close to FOAM.

The Strokes suggest otherwise from mainstream rock bands…

Never really listened to either of those bands, but I've recently heard some tracks from Asking Alexandria and it sounds promising.

I shall check them both out.  Any more bands you can suggest?

In terms of bands that have recently released albums, the new Body Count album was great, The Used's new album is a mixed bag but has some really great moments, The Amity Affliction recently put out a pretty good album, and I would definitely recommend checking out Point North starting with their cover of the song Hammer and then the "Light In A Dark Place" and "Retrograde" EPs.
