I’m surprised we didn’t get an “official” leak this time instead of the vinyl rips sent to us here. I heard 21stCB a week early on Rhapsody and it was in full stereo, same with the Trilogy and RevRad, which all leaked to YouTube a week early.

The world of leaks has forever been changed after the MOTIK scare. People probably reckon that nobody will believe a leak now, so the only people doing the leaking are kids that don't know about the infamous (or should I say inglorious) fake leaks lmao

the problem was partying out past last call and ending up with nowhere to go 

sleep in garages in alleyways and shit not even wearing warm clothing or anything

you just get messed up enough you dont feel anything

I wanna say it sounds like a backing track (at least on the broadcast, maybe not the final performance) so I can understand that from the cold. Like when RHCP didn't even bother plugging in on the superbowl performance. That being said I personally like Billie's mildly different chorus melody on FRA. It gets stuck in my head, where the actual song doesn't for some reason

And this is one of the reasons why the Super Bowl is never played in a cold weather open air stadium, with the exception of a relatively mild night at MetLife Stadium when the RHCP played but it ended up being the night before a big blizzard so the NFL dodged a bullet with that one!!! Billie’s vocals would’ve been a whole lot better if they performed inside, on a stage set up over the ice!!!

I think it’s a cool way for us to experience it for the first time. Different from the other leaks from past albums.

The band leaked it. It’s ripped from a vinyl record and, at points, almost sounds too obvious that it’s a rip. I think that’s something that they’d think is cool. 

The story about Walmart putting it out early? Just the boys getting back at their old foe ( I call into the courts knowledge the Green Day Vs. Walmart Feud of 2009)
