ryan_noctis Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 First time posting in GDC but long time fan of the site since 21st Century Breakdown. On my first few listens, songs are sounding great. Stand outs are definitely Junkies, Meet Me, Teenager,Ā and Graffitia. is it just me or does I Was aĀ Tennage Tennager sound/remind you of Buddy Holly from Weezer?Ā 1 Quote

Red Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 I heard apparently there exists out there somewhere, some tempo and pitch fixes made to the newest rip. Don't know for sure though š 1 Quote

KGLWW Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Teenage Teenager sort of reminds me of Angel Olsen. Has that pixies but also 60's/70's feel Quote
Montclare Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Okay, this is going to sound strange, but part of Grafitia reminds me of Lonesome Loser by the Little River Band. There's some other late 70s, early 80s song in there too that I can't put my finger on. And Meet Me on the Roof still sounds exactly like some other song, I just can't figure it out. 2 Quote

Popular Post AlissaGoesRAWR Posted February 2, 2020 Popular Post Posted February 2, 2020 As if I wasn't confused enough by the singles...Ā Stab You in the Heart is basically a Jailhouse Rock/Fuck Time mashup... I'm going to need to give this album several listens before I know how to feel. Ā It's crazy that they can be so drastically experimental in less than 30Ā minutes āĀ something that seemed so difficult to achieve over an entire trilogy of albums. Impressive, even if I'm not entirely sure if I'm a huge fan yet. I can definitely hear the influence of basically every side project. 6 1 Quote
