KGLWW Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 I think it's fairly good but it's not terribly original. I feel like a few songs change genres almost in the middle of the song. Meet Me on the Roof reminds me too much of Rob Thomas or something like that. The last two tracks are really strong though. The singles sound a lot better in this. I'd say the only songs I really do not like are meet me on the roof and Oh Yeah 1 Quote

I can't place it, but it's near identical to another song. It doesn't sound exactly like it, so probably not what you're thinking of, but both times I've listened to that song, it's made me think of the Twin Peaks theme song. Quote

Popular Post Christian's Inferno! Posted February 2, 2020 Popular Post Posted February 2, 2020 Wow. After my first listen, the only new track I wasn't into was I Was A Teenage Teenager. I'm actually really impressed. I wasn't expecting to like the songs as much as I did. It's really late though so I gotta go to sleep. Hopefully the next few listens will be as good or better I guess I've learned not to underestimate Green Day, (which is something I probably should've learned by now) 6 2 Quote

Popular Post Asa. Posted February 2, 2020 Popular Post Posted February 2, 2020 Making my annual GDC post to say the album rocks. Glad they are making the music they want and sounding fucking good doing it. 8 2 Quote
That Dude Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 It's a tradition to have typos in the lyric sheets. If instead of "of" in "Take the Money and Crawl" Some of other missing lines in some of the other songs. 1 Quote

GDFan2019 Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 HOLY SHIT!!! I was finally able to hear it!!!! I also noticed something very interesting with Sugar Youth. It kinda sounds eerily similar to Panicland’s Burn it All!!! 1 Quote
RamoneAnderson333 Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 After reading the lyrics and listening to the songs, I'm a little worried Billie is in coke. A lot of these songs involve drugs, paranoia, and money. There's the direct line of talking about doing coke. Also, he said hes worried he might be the next Rock'n'roll tragedy. I kind of get the vibe that he gets sketched out doing and buying coke. This is all just my theories based on the lyrical content. 1 2 Quote

Sugar Youth is also really good. And Graffitia is a very cool mix of classic tones and rock stylings with modern twists and FX, but again nothing very original in the melody. 2 Quote
WhiteTim Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 I’m conflicted I want to listen to the leak BUT I also want to wait until I have the cd in hand friday 1 Quote
