I remember being mad when they released the single and the video and thinking it would be forever until the album came out. Holy cow it’s in like a month. Ina month we will finally get to hear it. I hope they do some surprise club dates or a mini-club tour.

I am totally in love with this back cover. So even if the album will suck, I can stare at it and be happy anyway😄 Glad I ordered the bigger vinyl case, not only CD.

Am I the only one to love FOAMF and FRA ? 

im really confident in the upcoming album and in view of their recents shows at the AMA’s for example, I think they’re now considered like a proven band, currently they can do what music they want and il ok with that

Moreover FOAM is incredible live, the song has a particular energy and it’s not a bad song at all imo

You are not alone, I have a positive feeling about this record as well. But I think you can expect a similar reaction from part of the fanbase when you pee on its head departing from your “canonical sound” and having a unicorn throwing up on your most beloved album cover 😄 And I think the band was/is aware of this and foreseen it, they’re not dumb  

I am quite positive about the next single being something very different from FOAM, but I am not sure if it will be that in a way that makes the song more “generally accepted” by that part of the fanbase, or even more controversial

I am very excited for this album!! So far I'm happy with what I've heard. Even though they kept the songwriting familiar to GD standards, the sound is quite fresh.

Wouldn’t that apply to any record and even more to a 45 minutes record or similar?  Generally speaking the records I have more struggle to listen to are the long ones, especially if they are full of fillers a stretched songs, where having a full session becomes hard since every 2 minutes I have to press the skip button.
For me this is particularly relevant today, since I get to listen to a record front to back almost only on vinyl, and I will not do that if I know I only have 4-5 songs spread on 4 sides that I actually care about  

Of course if this end up being a 10 songs record with 7 fillers I will use it as a trivet, but that applies to any boring record, my turntable is very close to my kitchen

im expecting mixed reviews that fall more on the negative side tbh.We're gonna get that the album has good energy, different sounds than before and the songs are quick and fast etc followed by a HOWEVER, it falls flat because this and that and doesn't hold up as a better album in their entire discography etc. They'll most likely draw parallels with the trilogy but will highlight that this is a new sound for GD and a focused effort of only 10 tracks which is easier to digest.
