Bought it!
I am not necessarily lacking funds, but I also don't have an excess amount of them...
It's amazing how much power these men hold over me/us.

Still wish they'd release the full album on Vinyl or CD.

It's not a picture disc or anything like that though, right?
Also, weren't there only supposed to be a limited amount of the picture discs?

Full album vinyl comes out sometime in July, no info on the color yet.

The 7” is supposedly limited to 1000

I have no money to buy it and nothing to play the 7".  But I want one!

Do you guys think we will ever have a cd format?

Doubt it. CDs aren’t popular anymore.

I'm going to quote Adam Savage: «I reject your reality and substitute my own.»  I want a cd format!

I don't want a vinyl! My turntable is from the 1970s, is crap and will break the vinyl.

It sucks though because I have every other Green Day and side project album on CD so the Longshot is missing from the collection. I'd use it too.... I just play a crappy one I burned instead and as yet haven't given them any of my money. I understand they're a lot less popular now but I think out of the small number of people who know about/are fans of the Longshot a significant number of them would buy a Love Is For Losers CD, it's nice to have a physical copy/lyric booklet and vinyl always costs more. Oh well.

Unfortunately, since CDs are less popular, now when they do make them, they house them in those shitty digipaks or just paper sleeves to save costs.

True! And usually not much of a booklet if there is one at all. Shame though because I like to have a physical copy and vinyl is a pretty expensive alternative (not to mention useless without spending more on a record player). I guess vinyl is filling the demand for a physical copy for now but it's not ideal, maybe they'll come up with something else. I'd rather pay for a digital copy with a cool lyric/artwork booklet at a lower/equal to a CD price. But for now bands that don't put out CDs will just miss out on my money :P

Even vinyl these days barely come with inserts or booklets. It sucks :(

@Hermione I so agree with you. I love to have physical copy of an album. But vinyls are expensive, big, difficult to travel with and you need a very good turntable that is not going to scratch the album. CDs are cheaper, small, easy to travel with, they can go in multiple machines to be played and they have cool booklets and lyrics pages.

And anyway, most of my music collection is composed of cds. (I have a few cassettes, but none from GD.)

The Longshot better have a cd format or they will not get my money.

I'm not saying don't buy it in protest or anything , just to be clear. I'm just so used to waiting for a CD to pay for an album so if I already have a download and then there's only a pricey vinyl available...it might end up that I don't pay for that album :P. I know a lot of people are into buying vinyl so it's cool it's coming out.

Certainly,  I didn't buy Love is for losers because I've waited for a CD version. I would like the same for Longshots' EP, although I bought them digital in FLAC.

Sorry, it wasn't what I meant. I'm not protesting.  The fact is I'm short on money right now and I don't see why I should buy the album in a vinyl format if I can't use it. I would rather put my money on something I can use and enjoy like a cd format.
