1039Revolutions Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 I came across a Buddy Holly song called 'Everyday'.. and it really sounds like the melody for the Bouncing off the Walls verses. Am I wrong?

They're both just rock n roll type songs with simple melodies, small similarities in the melodies are a coincidence.

Some notes are the same but you'll get that with loads of songs.

Aaaaaaaaaand, another song ruined Also, I'll say this: there are only so many chord progressions - the art of music involves a lot of recycling, intentional or subconsciously
Gregor Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 If it helps imagine someone running in flip flops in the kitchen
concretedream Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 I can hear the similarity, but it's not spot-on and definitely just a coincidence. It's not like 25 Or 6 To 4 and Brain Stew

I couldn't get through more than 12 seconds because of the fapping noise in the background.
