Honestly how many title tracks do they have?  Most of their albums don't have them so there's only Warning, American Idiot, 21CB and Revolution Radio to choose from.  I love all those songs, but I guess AI would have to come out on the top as the best single track (followed by 21CB, Warning and RevRad)

I'll go with American Idiot because although it isn't one of my favorites on the record, it's just such a kick-ass way to start the album and to sum up the message of it.

21st Century Breakdown is without a doubt my favorite title track from them. The song is epic and was such a strong way to start off the album following Song of the Century. Once I heard that song I knew that the album was going to kick ass. Still one of my top 5 songs by them.

That’s kind of how I’m picking it, not by which one is my favorite song but which makes the best title track and/or album opener.

I love all of them except for Warning. I've just never been able to get into it.

If I really had to choose, I would probably go with AI. It's the first GD song I ever heard, so I wouldn't be here without it. It'll always have a special place in my heart.

21st Century Breakdown, soz. It's the perfect beginning to the story that follows, but can also stand alone as an incredible song. It was my favourite live opener too. Listening to recordings still gives me the chills.

American Idiot, no doubt. It's not only my favourite title track but probably my favourite Green Day song in general. 

I like the others as well, except Warning, which is a song that I can't really get into.

American Idiot is one of my favorite openers for any album and easily my favorite title track in their discography. It's a fun, fast, middle finger to modern media written in a witty way while showing you what kind of record you're about get yourself into. Hits the ground running.

It would have to be 21st century breakdown or 1,000 hours. 21cb is just a beautiful majestic song. and 1,000 hours is just awesome and i love how it starts out

Nimrod...just because it feels like that should be a song, it's such a GD song name. Maybe it exists and it's a badass b side waiting to be released in the future. One can dream, right?

Back to reality- of the ones that exist, 21CB is a good choice. While AI, RR, Warning, and 1,000 are all great songs and have various emotional connotations for me, 21CB is just such an epic, whirlwind of an opener it's hard to choose otherwise. Coming off the high of AI it was tough to imagine what they'd come up with next, and then they hit us with an aspirational, blindside upper-cut of a song like 21CB. It's a powerful and massive lead track. It's exactly how they should have opened that record, perfect placement and delivery.

Sweet Children is a song no one really cares for right? I guess it's alright but I never hear it getting talked about.

A real toss up between Idiot and Breakdown................my choice is.................Idiot!

Warning is one of my least favorite singles and Revolution Radio is good, but compared to those tracks it's not even close.  

One could make the argument that the Trilogy was named after the lyrics to "99 Revolutions" although I know that is stretching it.  But like nearly every award that could be given to a Green Day album, American Idiot wins again.
