Tina Sixx Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 The part of the song the single/album/radio version that says: “Talk myself out of feeling Talk my way out of control Talk myself out of falling in love Falling in love with you” is different than the demolicious version that sounds like: “warble warble mumble mumble” what are the different lyrics? anyone notice this?
Zebahar Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 It could be anything really. I believe those recordings are just of the guys playing in a room together. Billie could've forgotten the lyrics because it was probably still a relatively new song at the time, or he just didn't have any lyrics for that part that he liked, or maybe he just did it for fun.
Christian's Inferno! Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 That's one of the reason I can't get into this demo. Sound-wise, I don't really find one version better or worse than the other even though they sound so different from each other. But yeah, the gibberish lyrics Billie sings during that part just bothers me and makes the demo much less appealing to me

I’m going to give it a try. Haha 😊 15 hours ago, MysticManiac said: That's one of the reason I can't get into this demo. It’s like seeing the process and all the work they put into the trilogy and how you can see the progression. My records are the demos right now. I want to do a record and take my time but it’s all a process. I have a great love for the Trilogy and the process of the demos and the small club shows they did while recording the Trilogy... like stepping back to move into a new direction. The demos are so cool if you think about the mistakes being part of the art.
Second favourite son Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 I’m gonna be boring and say that it’s almost certainly gibberish that Billie used as filler because they didn’t yet have lyrics for that part at the time of recording the demo.

Agree. There's a demo version of My Direction by Sum 41 and it's literally all gibberish apart from the chorus I guess it's just a way for them to hear what it sounds like all together, sort of equivalent to a rough sketch.
Hero_Of_The_Hour Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 The demo very clearly says "Lady Cobra this song is for you Oh and the album too, N'fact I've gone 'n written a whole trilogy, A trilogy just for you!!" Honestly guys get better headphones
