I've been looking at a lot of Bob Gruen's Green Day stuff lately and I love this picture of Billie. It's from his 40th birthday party and that's just wild to me. That would be 2012 and he looks straight out of 2009 at the latest. How?

That’s great that the pics are helping you feel better ❤️ I hope you’ll feel a lot better soon. Hopefully it’s just passing through and like part of the weather change or something like that.

The pandemic going on and on is taking a toll of a lot of us all over the world. Plus, the lack of promo for new songs or interviews are not helping. It’s feels like even our fav band is missing in the whole mix of so much going on the past couple of years. All the energy on rereleases etc. Even the Billie Joe Armstrong Epiphone release did not have much promo or much of anything. There was someone else doing a demo video which was a little surprising (but not really). I hope everyone on the bands side of the camp are ok. It’s been a tough couple of years for so many reasons for everyone.

Feels like there’s not much to look forward to (in general). Feels like so much the past couple of years have been 2 steps forward 3 steps back. Trying to stay positive at least on the outside but it’s hard a lot of days.
