It was at a Cover Ups show at the Uptown in Oakland. Apparently Billie was very well "oiled" that night and according to someone who was there spat red wine out on the crowd...

A well “oiled” Billie having a good time is always nice to see. I guess that’s why the dancing was as good as it was. Too bad he wasn’t looking Hella Mega lovely. He looks really good this tour.

There were other posts about it at the time and someone had a setlist covered in it! 

Can't honestly say I'd want wine spat at me. Maybe it's because I've been sober a long time?

I have been sober and I have been Queen of Cocktails. I’ll do either depending on my mood or the environment. I love how Billie can do that too. He can be a gross little specially lubricated adorable party monster or a beautiful rock star doing endurance necessary stadium shows. But i do not want to get spitty red wine on me. Gross. He’s a nasty little gremlin (love him). I wanna go to a small club show with drinks and people and the Coverups or Upsidedowners or whatever is happening. And if there’s gross little cherub red wine fountain in human form on stage that would be excellent.

I still remember at the Longshot show I went to, Billie downed like half a bottle of water and then passed the rest out to the crowd (yes, I drank from it - this was pre COVID and it was very hot in that club). He didn't spit any out, but he did put his whole mouth around the water bottle opening so his spit was definitely in there.
