jengd Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 http://wmmr.com/episodes/green-day-talk-philly-shows-inviting-fans-onstage-pierre-interview-show-pics/ Hi all, popped up on my twitter feed this am, its really short, not sure it really warrants it's own thread.
pacejunkie punk Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Found it there too. Nice to finally hear this but I can't believe they only had ten minutes and you can hear the Warner people rushing him all the way through. Liked what I heard, I've always loved their attitude toward playing any size venue. And Pierre is a fan of the Shout medley! So there 😁

Yeah, I hate that about these pre-show interviews, always so rushed. But this one was good, all things considered. Nice to hear some Philly stories and good to see some more pictures from the show!
Hermione Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 It's always fine to make a thread for an interview/article if you want to . Random news is there for really small/random stuff that you might not feel like making a thread for but we don't need everything crammed in there, you can always feel free to make a thread for anything at all that you think is cool or interesting or might generate discussion. And a new interview with the band 100% deserves one, much easier for people to find with the interview tag than if it was in random news. This was cool! I enjoyed them talking about Gilman and the interviewer complimenting the Shout medley . I agree it's a shame it was a bit of a rush, I liked his enthusiasm for the band.
pacejunkie punk Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Pierre Robert is a legendary DJ too. I remember him from when I was a kid in Philly. Can't believe he's still there.
desertrose Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 thanks for posting this, I really enjoyed that. Great interview.
Karl Karlson Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 Definitely worth its own thread - it was a very nice, relaxed but informative interview
