In the bullet in a bible videos Billie used a white les paul junior, and ive never seen him use it anymore. What happened to it?

I think he used that white les paul on most of the American Idiot tour. I've always wondered what happened to it too.

Must have found the others he likes a lot more. They are awesome but heavy as hell. I still want to get one but, guess I am not in a huge rush. This is why Jimmy Page won't commit to a tour, holding one of these monsters for over 2 hours can kill your back. Slash doesn't seem to have a problem, that guy never stops sweating over them throughout a performance.

It's at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame exhibit

I like when he uses guitars.  I think just because he used a Les Paul doesn't mean Paul is in any way less of a human than anyone else.   We are all created equal.   Paul, if you are reading this, you are a great man and I appreciate you.

I thought that was only during their induction year. Makes sense if it's heavy to not use it much these days.

On a related note, do you think Blue will end up at the HoF one day or he'll hand it down to Jakob? It's his most iconic guitar I can imagine it in a museum someday (but I can also see why he'd want to keep it in the family so maybe just on loan to an exhibit.)

I've thought about that, too. I'm torn about which would be the appropriate option.

I would assume since they were inducted they'd have a permanent exhibit there, but I could be wrong!

No if you go to the website they are currently featuring exhibits for the 2017 class. Each one is a year long. They don't have room for a permanent exhibit of every member, though they may have one or two small things scattered throughout the museum, nothing big.

My sister was there earlier this year- the only thing she saw was a copy of American Idiot.  I believe someone posted on Reddit within the past year that they saw a letter he had written when he was 10, but she didn't see it there.

It's not too heavy. He still plays les Paul junior guitars at every show.

What I love about this forum.

Yeah, that thing is a beast. I've seen him break out different versions of it.  It's the so visible to guitar buffs so it stands out but I've seen him use similar but different guitars that he would break out that Les for on certain AI songs.  Usually ones where he plans on picking a little with Jason.  Rarely happens now.  Billie-Joe has become quite comfortable in his role as rhythm, power chord riffs, tag-along leads, and occasional acoustic solos when it comes to instrumentation and as you guys so astutely pointed out that's a lot of guitar.  Either way, color me impressed.

The silver sparkle was made from one of his Black sigs by Gibson. Just the body was painted and you can see the black neck with his signature on the top. One thing to note about the year of the silver sparkle is the tuners. They are separate tunes instead of 3 together on each side. Gibson did this change in 2010 probably to save money.

He used the white junior for the entire American Idiot tour and it was the yellow junior's backup for the Breakdown tour. He last used it live at the benefit show with Joan Jett. He then brought it with him to Cleveland for the Induction and then to give it to the rock hall for the following year. Mike's bass that was there has been there for years along with Billie's Woodstock outfit. Those stayed at the rock hall, the junior is not on display as of June of last year. I went looking for the junior but I could not find it. I found Mike's bass though. I asked about the junior and one of the workers said that they have so much stuff in storage that they like to switch some stuff around, he did not confirm or deny that it went back to Billie. They still have one of Stevie Ray Vaughn's guitars from the in storage he said, but that is all he knew of from the 2015 induction.
