How would you have ordered the songs on Revolution Radio?

Now that RevRad is approaching a year old, and we have a good feel for the songs.. how would you have ordered the track list?

My order:

1. Somewhere Now

2. Revolution Radio

3. Bang Bang (With the intro at the same volume as the rest of the song)

4. Say Goodbye

5. Bouncing off the Walls

6. Youngblood

7. Still Breathing

8. Too Dumb to Die

9. Outlaws

10. Troubled Times

11. Forever Now

12. Ordinary World

What :shok: I can't believe it'll soon be a year since we got Bang Bang....

As for the track list, I'd probably leave it as it is; I haven't listened to the full album in a while though, I need to do it soon and think about this :P

The only thing I would change is to remove Youngblood from the track list

I agree with @Eric. I think the order is perfect as it is and I wouldn't change it.

I think the 12 songs are perfect, but the order could be better. I've always thought the album had such a snappy pace and outlaws kinda just slows it down too much in the middle. And I dunno why, but Still Breathing still sounds a little outa place after Bouncing off the walls. Too Dumb, Outlaws, and TT would have been a nice way to slow it down with more reflective songs, then go out with a bang on Forever Now and Ordinary World.

Just my opinion.

I really like it how it is already, but I do kind of agree with you on Outlaws. (It's probably my least favourite song off Rev Rad, purely because of the slowness.)

I would keep it mostly the same, except switch Revolution Radio with Somewhere now. I have this thing, where the title track has to be the first song on the album. :P Also, it packs more of an 'in your face' vibe than Somewhere Now. In my opinion, opening the album with Somewhere Now feels like opening American Idiot with Extraordinary Girl. I dunno, to me it feels like the least powerful song on the album.

I do like the current song ordering on the album. However, I decided to completely mix it up for fun.

Troubled Times

Bang Bang

Say Goodbye

Revolution Radio

Bouncing Off the Wall

Youngblood

Outlaws

Somewhere Now

Still Breathing

Too Dumb to Die

Forever Now

Ordinary World

I always like it when a more mellow track is 2nd to last, I'd rather have the calm before the storm and then go out with a bang, so I'd put Forever Now last and Ordinary World right before it. idk about the rest of the tracks yet, I'd have to think about it but definitely still start with Somewhere Now

Would remove ordinary world at all. Forever now is a way better closer.

When it's time wasn't on American Idiot.

Drama Queen wasn't on 21st Century breakdown.

They made the right decision in my opinion.

Somewhere Now is an awesome song, one of the best on an album full of great songs.

I would leave it the same but put Ordinary World either before Forever Now or leave it off entirely. Sounds better before it anyways and Forever Now is a way better closer.

I really liked this song at first, but as time has gone on, I really feel like it could have been fleshed out some more or have been a b-side as it stands now. However, commercially I think it was smart to keep such a simple and catchy song on the album. It's just s classically structured song about liking someone because they're badass in your eyes and I appreciate the simplicity it brought.
