Don't think anyone else has posted this article. I was going to put it in random news but decided to make a topic out of it because I thought a few people on here might have some thoughts on Kerrang's choices, etc. (Mods please feel free to move to random news if you feel appropriate.) It's photos I'm afraid (still no scanner) so hope you are able to make out the text! Green Day get two mentions. No. 7 for "Basket Case" and No. 48 for "American Idiot".

Just made one. Not sure if it's already public or if I have to MAKE it public, but here's the link. There were a handful I couldn't find because Spotify doesn't have them available:

• #64 NOFX - The Decline (maybe 'cause it's, like, 18 minutes long? I dunno.)
• #63 Body Count - Cop Killer (probably due to the lyrical content)
• #31 Anti-Nowhere League - So What (probably the lyrical content)
• #24 Crass - How Does It Feel (Crass did pride themselves on being pretty independent, so maybe they felt being on Spotify was "selling out"?)
• #13 The Ruts - Staring At The Rude Boys (not really sure why, really, most of The Ruts material isn't on there)

Nah, those are the correct two to pick I'd say.

Basket Case is the biggest hit on Dookie and AI on AI - Both helped define significant waves (albeit different ones) of punk.
