Alexjep93 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Nimrod turns 20 in October this year and I want to put on a NIMROD CONCERT in Brisbane/Ipswich to celebrate... I'm looking for people interested in helping me pull it off basically either get a few bands together or form a band of GD fans and play through Nimrod in its entirety (as well as a few other GD hits). I'm lead vocalist/guitarist of a band and I have some good sound and lighting gear that can be used. Ideally it would be good to have around 3 lead vocalists, a few guitarists, bassists, drummers (and possibly other instruments such a trumpet for 'King for a day'). But I would like to keep personnel to strictly Green day fans if possible. Even if you don't play an instrument there are other things that will need doing such as: running sound and lights, promotional posters, etc so anybody that has a skill to contribute would be greatly appreciated. Other than that, I don't have much planned; We could all do this for free or we could work out a way to raise money to split equally between everyone who contributes (admission fee/fund raising). If we can pull this off, it should be one hell of a night. Post here if you're interested, let me hear your thoughts and ideas. Lol i can help with other stuff too I've been doing security for just over six year at big festivals and smaller concerts as well. 😄 Are you going to have it at a pub or someother kind of venue or?!?!? Ps this sounds like an awesome idea!

Nimrods my favourite album so i can also play guitar but haven't played in a few years since my guitar got stolen
