Backstage Passes for Little Rock?

Hi Everyone!

I am new to the Green Day Community and will be going to my first-ever Green Day show in Little Rock, Arkansas.  My best friend and I have tickets in the nosebleed section, but at least we will be there!  I was wondering how one goes about getting backstage passes?  I know that typically (as with any show), you have to know someone to even have a prayer.  I have loved Green Day for so long and would absolutely be over the moon to meet the guys.  Is there any way in the world someone like me could meet them?

Hi, welcome! You're going to have such a great time :D

As for backstage passes, I'm no expert but I really doubt it. Your best bet is probably running into them before the show whilst out and about, if you're really lucky.

Thanks so much, I am really excited! 😁 I figured it was a long shot, but hey, never hurts to ask!

So the OP has 2 posts. Both in this thread.  Guessing she hasn't seen Juste's photos nor why you're being so mean to her. Your bested friendship is unknown to her.

Just try and remember the topic, who the OP is and respond appropriately. Please and thank you. :)

Have fun at the concert. you probably shouldn´t worry too much about meeting Green Day or not.
Me and a friend had tickets for the nosebleed section, too, but it was still absolutely awesome!

Hence why I added the "". I can see that I wasn't clear enough that I was joking, though.

Either way it was still off topic and easily misunderstood by a brand new member.

Just be more aware in your posts to Juste going forward. Thanks.

Hi there!
To add to the discussion in my experience a good way to try to meet the guys is to hangout by their buses before/ after the show. Sometimes depending on their schedule they will stop to sign autographs and chat with fans briefly. Really It's just a matter of luck and being in the right place at the right time.

Have fun and enjoy the concert. I promise you will have the time of your life. :)

Sorry to say this, but this is one of the toughest bands to meet. I've been very lucky and have done so before, but you've got to try to catch them at their tour buses or something like that. I've tried to use all my charity, sponsor, etc. connections for a more formal meet and greet many times and they have a very tough barrier around them. For example, a big sponsor in my city was able to help me meet a bunch of other bands (as big as Elton John, for example), but unfortunately it never works for Green Day. Not sure why- they seem like they really love the fans, but they are just flat out inpossible when it comes to pre or post show meetings, even if you have crazy hookups at the venue/ sponsor level. I keep trying but keep hitting a wall every time, even this tour.

Perhaps it's a case of 'if we can't meet them all we won't meet any of them' kinda thing? I know an actor who never replied to fan mail when he was on a soap because he couldn't reply to everyone so just figured it was more fair to not reply to any of it  or maybe they just have really strict management. Who knows?

It really is a great question. When we met them by chance they were super cool. And it was super random- Jason was chatting Pinhead while having his Starbucks, Tre was being a knucklehead while trying to find his way to the arena, etc.  However, there's absolutely no shot of setting up anything in advance with them- it's the opposite of Metallica and others who make sure there's a slot of time pre and/ or post show for fans (usually either for charity or sometimes for profit, which in my mind is not as cool obviously). I totally respect this- we all only have so many hours in the day. But I do find it interesting since they are one of the toughest bands to meet (at least when they come to this area) easily. But when other huge acts come to town usually they do mingle a bit for sponsors and charity. Do you guys have a similar experience with them?
