I choose Trè Cool. Because it's... Trè Cool. Fun and smart at the same time. Dominated Love Slave and All By Myself are proofs of how its smartness can be fun and vice versa. I think he's the thing that makes Green Day so green. Should we even talk about his drumming? I don't think so.

In the end I can say that Trè is my master of craziness.

Mike! I love Billie and Mike equally much, but Mike! He's just so perfect, so funny AND he manages to look very attractive while playing. Ugh, I can't handle Mike.

I remember when we used to get people making this thread pretty much every day. I believe their remains are still in the dungeon, along with the "Billie's hair" and "Billie's got throat cancer" people.

Had you asked my 13 year-old self, I would have been explicitly yelling Billie, but I realize now the main reason I liked him the most then was because of the massive crush I had on him.  I think I lean more towards Mike now because of how reserved he is, but when he cracks a joke it's always hilarious

Is writing a song considered a skill - if so, based on skill it has to be BJ.

Yeah I can't debate anything about guitar playing but people do say something about BJs finger picking & he should get more credit as a guitar player.

I disagree with that.   As my poorly named friend has stated, in Rev Rad he does alot of picking and he uses octaves in some places, which are easy, but definitely different.  There are alot of power chords, because that is his style, but he really tries to mix things up a bit.  There is nothing difficult but definitely growth from where he used to be.

Billie doesn't play anything super hard, but what he does play, he plays very, very well.  Even Butch Vig said that Billie is a very tight guitar player
