Alanna Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 If you could give the band a gift and money was no object, what do you think would be the most meaningful gift you could give them? Looking for ideas as a professional artist gifting person for an arena. This one is important to me since they were the first band I ever saw live and my inspiration to get into the business. I'd love some ideas from some of the band's biggest fans
End Of The World Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 This: It represents the way I feel when I get lost over the rainbow. A mix of feelings. In one word, myself. I'm sure Billie would like it and Trè would immediately try to use it in some unusual ways.
unextraordinarygirl Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 I don't think a gift that's bought at a store would mean as much as one that's made from the heart. They are rich and have everything so I wouldn't even know what to get anyway.
Billie Hoe Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Mike would probably be happy with a punny coffee cup that has some lame dad joke written on it, of which he would take a pic for instagram and caption it with an equally lame but somewhat funny 100 character dad joke hashtag

I wouldn't give one to Tre because 99% sure it'd end up in one of his orifices within five minutes.
Overjoyyed Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Something one of a kind- like made on etsy. This guy is amazing https://dominator.cc - it would be cool to get either luggage since they travel a ton or like custom guitar cases with either Green Day album art or their tattoos. A bunch of stickers hoping one would end up on Blue

Not necessarily bought from a store (it could be one of a kind or memorabilia or really anything). For Springsteen we did a really amazing book of stories from all of the fans that were going to the shows, some people had been to 300+ concerts, some people said the band saved their lives. There's so many amazing options it's just figuring out what would mean the most to the band. 10 hours ago, Overjoyyed said: Something one of a kind- like made on etsy. Alanna Posted January 25, 2017 Author Posted January 25, 2017 What about custom muppets of each band member? I think that would be dope https://www.etsy.com/shop/Passion4Puppets?ref=profile_shopname
muscles90 Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 A map to the fountain of youth - but i guess they already found it ;0
letsdanceon Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Something similar to what you already mentioned in the book idea would be my suggestion. Letters from fans, stories of how they changed people's lives and what they mean to people, etc. you could obviously source from right here in asking for submissions 😉 They seem like such humble, appreciative guys that really value their fans, I think this would be very special for them.

That's what I was getting at with my post. I think stories from fans of first discoveries, concerts, what the band means to them, etc. would mean more to the band than anything else.
letsdanceon Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 @Alanna just check out the "when did you become a super fan" thread to see some ideas of the powerful things fans are saying...I think the band would be SO flattered to hear
UNICORN VOMIT Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Fan chosen book of their ultimate setlist.
