It's great that you had such a fab time with them before the show in Worcester, your post from a few months ago always stuck with me when you posted this and it was depressing to hear you felt that they were perfectly fine being a bit disconnected with the fans. I sent a note hoping all was well, and while we'd love to find a workaround, we wished them good health and thanks for the kind thoughts and effort throughout. No response yet. I love this band, but to your point I feel that they're perfectly fine being a bit disconnected with the fans right now, which sucks, but I guess that's what happens. I am so glad you brought this up! I was getting really frustrated because I had tried to use a good connection to meet them for a while but always hit a dead end. Well, this time everything lined up perfectly, and I also gained a better understanding as to why it's so hard to meet them. Their road schedule is grueling, and there really is no time in the day to spend with fans. They would if they could, but they literally get up, soundcheck, have a little time with family, play the show, get on the bus, and pull into the next city at the crack of dawn and do it all over again. The fact that we were able to make it happen this time was very fortunate and it allowed me to better understand how tightly scheduled everything is. And it's so great to see that everyone- not just the band, but the crew, techs, security, etc. are so good natured. They really do have an A+ operation and most have been working together many years. Like I mentioned in my other post, the work the crew puts in is unbelievable, and it seems like they have to do it on very little sleep. This was in Worcester, by the way. I've probably said too much but just wanted to pass along how phenomenal they all are. Also, if the mods are curious (just in case it seems like I am spinning a tale here- I do admit this is all pretty remarkable) I am happy to send proof over to Andres to verify.
