That time he wanted to play in someone’s backyard failed because Crush tried to have the guy who booked the Danny’s punk show to book this and they tried to get some other DIY bands on board, but everyone said no because no one wanted to deal with the corporate behind it all on GD’s side. I honestly believe Billie would like nothing more than to show up somewhere random with Green Day (not a side band/covers thing) and play a show but he can’t because it’s all contracts and security and management and rules. If this hella tiny tour ever happened it wouldn’t be tiny by the time it was done with promoters, Ticketmaster, venues, merch, etc. 5 Quote
