Not sure this is really the right place, but the Kerrang article says "...Billie Joe began thinking on new material almost immediately, while sharing playlists of other bands and artists with his bandmates as a window into where his head was at" , I wonder if that's the song for assholes account, would IG be the best place to do that?

That was two years later when they were recording the album. The article refers to Nov 17 - the end of the RevRad period where he started sharing musical ideas, leading to Coverups then Longshot then this.
