GREEN DAY IN OXFORD 2017?

I was searching for "Green Day 2017" on Twitter and I came across the account of "Oxfest 2017" which tweeted this: 

Is it a hoax? Is it really a new festival? What's going on? It's just...weird. As you can see, the account was just made a day ago. What could it be behind it? 

I don't have any hopes for its because it seems mostly fake but you could know more than I do.

It could very well be legitimate but I have never heard of Oxfest before. Doesn't sound like a (music) festival

Looks fishy to me, it says you can buy tickets now and the link directs you to a domain page that isn't even finished, which then links you to a "William Martin productions"

Looks like there is an actual Oxfest, apparently it "celebrates recovering addicts". Not sure how genuine that tweet is, though.

It's a bit too weird to be true that they have announced a big act like Green Day but yet don't have any website or social media apart from that Twitter account with 68 followers. Anyway it's says August 4th to 6th and they'll be long gone from Europe at that point, so they'd have to come back just for that..... It's what they did for Reading & Leeds in 2013, but for "Ox Fest"...? I never lose my hope in things like these But it looks totally unreliable.

I just looked at the whole twitter page, Port Meadow is in the real Oxford, not the American version. It would be pretty random for Green Day to play there.

They do also have an Instagram page but guess what? No posts, not many followers lol! I mean, it's Green Day, how on earth could they not get any coverage at all?

Oxfest has existed previously, every couple of years, but it's entirely tribute bands.

 A music festival celebrating recovering addicts? No wonder it has 68 followers! Ever been to a music festival and NOT been drenched in beer?! A music festival without alcohol is an empty field. Certainly you won't catch Tre Cool within a fifty mile radius of the place

Uh, so the twitter says it's in Port Meadow which is England but then that video about Oxfest (the addict recovery festival) is clearly being held in North America (Portland? Vancouver? Confusing, lmao) so which is it??
