Is this a reliable source? It seems more like someone mocking Green Day, and not a real story

It's like The Onion for rock music.

Edit: Just realizing your not from American...and... you probably don't know what The Onion is either.

Finally Green Day put their old profile picture back on Facebook and Spotify.
I think 90% of their followers didn't even knew what the big N was for.

That N looked more Netflix than Network :P

I guess it's over then... No more Network control 😢

Yeah sad but I guess they figure some people might check out their socials after the TV appearance and be confused. *pours one out for The Network*  Let's hope that project was a hint of great music to come

From Kerrang on Dookie’s 27th birthday

How Green Day’s Dookie captured the spirit of a generation

https://www.kerrang.com/features/how-green-days-dookie-captured-the-spirit-of-a-generation/

I am really confused about the part of this article that says Billie had anxiety because "his parents split up years earlier." His parents didn't split up; his father died when he was ten. Anyone and everyone remotely familiar with Green Day knows that. Who the hell wrote this?

(Also, I never heard Billie or anyone around him say he had an actual anxiety disorder; yes, he has had his share of struggles and spoken about those, but diagnosing someone with a disorder is a whole other level.)

His mother remarried & divorced after his father passed away. Billie was still in high school during that.

Billie has said many times that he has a panic disorder.  But yeah the part about his parents splitting up is ridiculous

OK thanks, somehow I never heard him say that specifically.

OK, thank for the clarification. I guess it was just really ambiguous when they said "parents." And we all know that the defining thing for him was his father's death.

Also, while the anxiety may not have been directly from that, he has also stated that his mom became very distant after Andy’s death.

I'm still holding on hope for The Network to come back once again, especially after some or Van Gough's comments towards the end of their Kerrang interview

Didn't know I was considered the keeper of the pee story list, I'm honoured

Edit: Just watched it and to be fair I did know exactly when and where that must have happened before he said so

I figured it had to be a Hot Tub show or something to do with the AI musical, they had some wild parties.

And yup, Keeper of the List 😄
