Popular Post Billie Joes Eyelids Posted July 1, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 1, 2019 When a rock star is posting pics of his son’s band playing at a music festival, he’s definitely become dad rock. But in the best way. 4 1

You can make the argument that it's pointless since there's not much we as fans can do, but it's not intrusive. Worry is a natural human emotion that a person can't help but feel. If you don't worry about him drinking, that's fine. But it's fine to worry as well. 4
Popular Post solongfromthestars Posted July 3, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 3, 2019 Obviously Billie's drinking is none of our business and there are creepy fans who don't get that. Casually voicing concern isn't like stalking him to find out what he's drinking and exactly what it means, though. He's important to a lot of people and a pang of concern is hardly speculation. It's not trying to figure anything out, it's just what it is, a moment of worry. Saying he's happy and healthy isn't any less intrusive, if not more so because it is speculating about something we don't actually know. If we're not going to discuss things we don't know, then we just shouldn't discuss this at all. 6
Little Boy Named Booze Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 lol he can drink a beer or two if he want wtf.
Hermione Posted July 3, 2019 Author Posted July 3, 2019 I think it can be pointed out that Billie never said he was going to be teetotal and that he's been seen with alcoholic drinks since only a short time after his rehab though. It also isn't unreasonable to say that he seems fine (even if that isn't ever guaranteed with anyone) and that there's no need to worry without hearing otherwise based only on seeing him doing something he never said he wasn't going to do and that isn't a new thing. Like if people think he's been sworn teetotal for life for years and suddenly now drinking then yeah it's understandable to feel concern. But that isn't actually the case and if people are worried based on assuming that then it's helpful to point it out. Ideally it wouldn't be discussed at all but if "worrying" posts are allowed but not a voice of reason reply then I can see that leading to a lot of unnecessary worrying and speculating. 1
