Green Day's first tour bus The Chandler Public Library retired its bookmobile in the early 1990s and Frank Wright purchased it at auction to use as a tour van for his son's punk band, Green Day. The band used the vehicle until stardom allowed for an upgrade. Katie Hildebrand owns the Green Day bookmobile tour van and she will have it on display at the museum on opening day. 5

WorryRock02 Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Michael Brandvold has been joined by Reto Peter who has been actively engineering and producing music for 20 years. Reto starts off sharing some stories working with Green Day on the American Idiot album. 3

ollhjr Posted December 13, 2018 Posted December 13, 2018 Maybe this video gets a new thread, but on Green Day's official YouTube channel they released an end-of-the-year/Christmas video. It is Youngblood, but with some cool behind the scenes footage from the Revolution Radio tour. Is it time to speculate what is next? https://youtu.be/rDvwcO9zs2g 3

Popular Post desertrose Posted December 16, 2018 Popular Post Posted December 16, 2018 The Forgotten Genius of Green Day What makes the self-proclaimed "God’s favourite band" so different from every other punk-rock band ever? From sleeping on couches and floors to reviving a genre, @GreenDay has gone from being an overnight phenomenon to being synonymous with rock and roll. https://themitpost.com/forgotten-genius-green-day/ 7
Billie Hoe Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 "Self-Proclaimed"? Are they calling Green Day God? 3
Montclare Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 As an Ordinary World lover, I'm glad to see it was a hit single. Never saw the full pic of Billie and Mike sleeping on the floor before; all the pics I've seen were just of Billie. 2
Popular Post solongfromthestars Posted December 17, 2018 Popular Post Posted December 17, 2018 Technically random news, right? I wrote about and shared my photos of following the 21st Century Breakdown Tour. https://mariagloriaharvey.wordpress.com/2018/12/16/21st-century-breakdown-tour/ "To this day, I still get chills when I hear the intro to 21st Century Breakdown. I can still see my favourite band, as if in slow motion, running onto that stage like the heroes they were to 14 year-old me. I can see Mike thumping his heart and Tré sitting to play the show’s first beats. I can still feel the unbridled joy, the disbelief and looking back, how my life changed in that very moment." 5
