Green day look a bit like the cure ^^

Don't know if anyone else has seen this but apparently Green Day are making a 'big announcement' at the Rock And Roll hall of fame.

It was in the article announcing the gig at House of Blues.

With no source backing up the claim. The Plain Dealer story cited Green Day's website, which had no such announcements on it and still doesn't...

Ok I'll leak the big announcement

Green Day are quitting the band as we know it and are forming the ultimate boy band with One Direction called Green Direction

That's why Zayn left cause he was against teaming up "with those old dudes who wear eye liner"

They are ugly. lol

The article has no source for saying their is a big announcement. However, they will be asked, and many times, what is the future of green day. If their press agent has not told them to have an answer prepared, I would find a new press agent. The answer to that question may be we don't know. But I would really be surprised if they said nothing.

That is not a big announcement but I would really be surprised if at least one reporter did not ask them about their future.

Even if there is an announcement, I really doubt it'll be a new album if they hadn't even jammed together for a year until recently.

Maybe they jammed the shit out and we don't know...

That Cleveland.com article says "Green Day's official website" for the source of the "announcement" - There is no where on GreenDay.com that says "surprise announcement."

That article is just about as bad as NME's.

OK then...

One can see that it's the *new* RHCP, given how ugly the creature is.

Nirvana and GNR on the other hand are almost cherubic for no particular reason. O_o

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Bracket Challenge Champiosnhip: Green Day and Joan Jett and The Blackhearts

http://www.musictimes.com/articles/34597/20150406/rock-roll-hall-fame-bracket-challenge-champiosnhip-green-day-joan-jett-blackhearts.htm

The inaugural 2014 Acoustic-4-A-Cure featured Hetfield and Hagar alongside returning guests Satriani and Monahan plus Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong and Heart's Nancy Wilson. Hetfield performed the Beatles' "In My Life" on acoustic guitar, while Hetfield, Armstrong and Satriani teamed up for a rendition of Bob Seger's "Turn the Page," a track Metallica has often covered in concert. The concert also included Green Day performing "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" and an all-star version of Bob Dylan's "Rainy Day Woman #12 & 35."

Green Day have always been a ridiculously hardworking band, releasing albums every two years like clockwork. When they dropped Warning in 2000, they knew what kind of band they were: Angry, young, and politically-charged. "Minority" highlights the angst—there aren't like you, because being you sucks. - See more at: http://www.fuse.tv/2015/04/punk-band-6th-album#3

Thanks. :) Looking out for that one and the previous one I didn't locate. Every month, I can find 3 out of 4 and, ironically, the 4th always turns out to be important.
