desertrose Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 6 Questions With the Original Goth Girl, Ally Sheedy So it was a collaborative effort to create Allison's look? It was. One of my favorite things in the world is that Billie Joe Armstrong looks goth. WorryRock02 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Last night's final blind auditions on 'The Voice of Italy' a guy sang Wake Me Up When September Ends: https://youtu.be/DzfSBbqrWOo
desertrose Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 I saw this one on you tube, this guy did Basket Case from 2014 1

Chin for a Day Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 That was pretty good. But why does everyone pick Basket Case. Can someone please pick another song??? It's not like they don't have other great songs to pick from.

I know...it's screaming/shouting (I have no clue when it comes to this), but I really like that cover...and I usually don't like covers The only other GD cover I like is "Pulling Teeth" by Ari & Steve - that's a quiet one. 1

Chin for a Day Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 I just found some interesting news. Billie now has an acting agent. I guess he is taking this seriously. He is represented by Rhonda Price of The Gersh Agency. She doesn't represent anyone super impressive. She also represents Olivia Cooke from Bates Motel, Emily Deschanel from Bones, Justin Long, Gary Cole, Christopher Meloni, Angela Bassett, John Gallagher, just to name a few. I'm very interested to see where this goes.

UNICORN VOMIT Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Pretty common for most musicians who appear in films as film contracts are different than music so music agents don't know how to map out things Tim - could you give a quick run down on music contracts. GD are contracted to do a certain number - do they have to deliver all the albums - do they get a continuing income etc.

GD are contracted to do a certain number - do they have to deliver all the albums - do they get a continuing income etc. I believe GD finished their original contract and are doing a album by album deal Artists who are under contract for multiple albums do have to deliver the albums And artists don't have a hourly pay or salary they get advances and most get paid up to 12 songs per album upfront (any more than 12 are pretty much just gifts)
Chin for a Day Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Pretty common for most musicians who appear in films as film contracts are different than music so music agents don't know how to map out things Agreed. Tim Curry has an agent for film and one for theater. I've been checking a few times a week, to see the release date for Geezer and Billie did not have an agent listed until today. If he was not interested in pursuing acting in the future, I don't see why he would get an agent. Now it could be they just didn't populate the data until today, because I sure he had one before. But again, why bother if he is not interested in pursuing acting further.

Why did they check then to see if the trilogy was considered one album or three?

Possible no one updated til recently either way smart move and hope he does continue to do film Imdb pro it's not the best site, but it is the cheapest. So the info may not be updated timely. But yes I would love to see him pursue acting
