Iva Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 From tomorrow's Entertainment Weekly WHAT'S WRONG WITH SNARLS? SNARLS EQUAL AWESOME. JUBBA JUBBA JUBBO.
WorryRock02 Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Green Day mentioned here: http://globalnews.ca/news/1741573/memorable-celebrity-moments-of-2014/ and here: http://www.billboard.com/articles/6414266/cbgb-10-classic-moments What’s bigger than Green Day playing their debut single “Longview” at CBGB, is the fact that apparently they weren’t scheduled to perform that night. “When all else fails, pull out the hits,” Billie Joe joked. And a hit it was. The song that describes intense boredom peaked at No. 1 on the June 11, 1994 Alternative Songs chart.

Hermione Posted December 28, 2014 Author Posted December 28, 2014 Not news but thought some would be interested in this but can't be bothered to see if someone already posted it. Found it from a FB post by Niomi Lir. Two of my favorite things. Green Day and Disney/Pixar. Is there a song that Boulevard Of Broken Dreams hasn't been mixed with yet? This is good though, I'll have to show it to my nephew since he loves the Frozen song. 1

Maid Meringue Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 There's a bunch on discogs, not worth that much. Yeah I know, but for people who just really want to own every record that Green Day has been on ever, I think it's nice. I've paid $25 for total shit records in-store, at least this is kind of cool. 1

WorryRock02 Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 New Green day's t-shirt on Hot Topic http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Music/Guys/Tees/PunkTeesTanks/Green+Day+Mugshot+T-Shirt-10315842.jsp 1
Guest Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 New Green day's t-shirt on Hot Topic http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Music/Guys/Tees/PunkTeesTanks/Green+Day+Mugshot+T-Shirt-10315842.jsp thaaaaaat's appalling. then again, can't expect much more from Hot Topic, they excel at being tasteless
BilIie Joe Armstrong Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Couldn't they find a worse photo? Was it taken at a police station after DUI? Hey, Hot Topic, what about using the teeth one next time.
Chin for a Day Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Couldn't they find a worse photo? Was it taken at a police station after DUI? Hey, Hot Topic, what about using the teeth one next time. It is his mug shot, so yes, it was taken at the police station after his DUI. 1
BilIie Joe Armstrong Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 It is his mug shot, so yes, it was taken at the police station after his DUI. Indeed? I was just guessing. Then it's an extraordinarily bad idea for a tee a pretty tasteless one, too. 3
Chin for a Day Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Indeed? I was just guessing. Then it's an extraordinarily bad idea for a tee a pretty tasteless one, too. It's actually more tasteless. The caption on the T-shrit says "Since 1988". What did Billie say during his meltdown, something like We've been around since 1988. 1

What did Billie say during his meltdown, something like We've been around since 1988. That's right. They could have made something ironic, but this is rather a bad idea and moreover looks pretty bad. I wouldn't pay for this. 4
Todd Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Someone's gonna run into Billie after a concert wearing that shirt, and he's gonna give them the dirtiest look
Karl Karlson Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Someone's gonna run into Billie after a concert wearing that shirt, and he's gonna give them the dirtiest look In reality: He'd smile and say: "Haha, never seen that. I want one too." (as far as I can imagine BJ and his weird ways sometimes) 1
Guest Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 i just hope the bigger fans have more sense than to buy/wear that shit. it's in poor taste and could be very offensive towards Billie if he does see it as i like to think that he now realises how stupid he was for drink driving.
okotavio Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 That's really awful. Even worse if one designed a Vegas meltdown t-shirt. There are millions of references to inspire a Green Day design...

Chin for a Day Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 pretty sure there's a lot of memorabilia out there designed off the Vegas incident. which is disgusting, but shit sells. That is really pathetic. I really can't deal with people that buy shit just to show how much they hate something. What a great freakin' message to send.
BilIie Joe Armstrong Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Still better than fans buying such stuff and thinking it's funny.
