New issue of Kerrang out tomorrow

That one probably deserves a thread of its own.

I don't know if you have seen this but it's pretty funny :ga:

Billie Joe leaving the hotel in Bogotá, Colombia :D

This is not OK! Not OK by any means, therefore not funny, either. People should not be doing this, period.

Yes, or any other fan type candid in general.

Sorry, traumatic crap again, I come from the fandom where somebody filmed somebody on an airport in Chile and made it into a DVD. :S

Green Day has had fans trying to meet them for the last 20 years. This is nothing new, and nothing even remotely crazy. He has a security guard for a reason. People trying to film him walking out a hotel isn't anything special. If this was filmed while they were off tour or he was with his family, then yeah, i would have deleted it.

I'm not telling you to delete it at all, I'm sorry it came across that way. I was just confused so as to that number of people liked it.

I agree with Iva. Don't understand how anyone thinks those things are cool or funny... just because someone is famous doesn't mean it's okay to invade their privacy. Obviously it happens to all famous people but it's not like it's something pleasant.

Then people wonder why they're occasionally in a bad mood

it's not a fan who carried him by the way. it's probably a friend or he wouldn't laugh.

So I watched the video and I really don't understand what everyone is upset about. If people think that's random fan, I HIGHLY doubt it. They have security guards for a reason. I think it was just a friend or crew member. And as someone else pointed out he's laughing. If it was some rabid fan I don't think he would be laughing.

It's not the content of the video, it's the fact that someone has filmed him in his private time and posted it on the internet. It's bound to happen with celebrities, I just don't get why people think it's cool. :P

Im sorry but how can people have a problem with fan footage of Billie leaving a hotel? It was during Green Day's tour and fans always hang out at hotels hoping to meet/see them and when they leave they usually greet the fans briefly. They likely expect to be photographed/filmed. As Andres pointed out it was during a tour not a private hotel stay/holiday so it's not exactly invasion of privacy- some fans hoping to meet you outside a hotel as you walk a few feet to a van is a sign you are doing something right haha. Anyway in this case it's a little weird because Billie is carried to the van either as a joke or for an unknown reason (it hardly sounds/looks like he or the others who follow him are being swarmed). Also its common for fans to post their encounters with GD online...by this logic every photo of Billie at Newport Beach when someone meets him is invasion of privacy...except way more so as he IS on vacation ;) Think everyone meeds to chill.

Yup. If they were honestly concerned with people outside, his security guard and other band members wouldn't be casually strolling over down the steps.

I think he's being carried by Eddie, his security guard. I've seen this video a while ago, it's just a funny thing that happened to them and fans where there to film it.

Now the video that was filmed outside of the hotel with all of the fans where he tried to meet and greet them: RUN AWAY RUN FAR AWAY, LOL.

Yikes.

Exactly, honestly I think we badly need some actual news around here to bitch about...this is what comes of boredom haha.

Here's news, not great or completely satisfying, but Billie apparently is getting a new pup.

....

The pic is from a private account. Please remove the link, thank you.

EDIT:

Read that one too. Fantastic article!

It's actually a link to the audio broadcast interview, about 32 minutes long!

Yeah, I don't see how him leaving the hotel was private time. Like Andres said, if he was with his family or something then I think it's more of an issue.

Hmm, so that video is gone, I thought he sent it to me to post, I'll let you know what happens. Yikes.

Sorry guys, I forgot to ask him if I could post that, so it's my fault. Very sorry.

I had seen a gif from that video more than a year ago; and I don't really find anything wrong with it, who doesn't like to be carried?
