Sarcasm Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 you can ask them questions, most likely you'll get a non-answer or a quip from Tre. Good luck
DeJennsitized Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Aw damn, I knew nothing about this. Maybe it'll be repeated.

I've recorded it but absolutely no idea how to get it from my Sky + box onto my laptop. There's not much new in there really. There's not a great deal of talk on the album, it's mainly little stories about what concerts they've been to recently, whether Billie is an embarassing Dad, why Tre doesn't play more drum solos like on Bang Bang (because they won't be special if he does them all the time apparently) Only real talk of the album is that Bang Bang was the first song completed and that's what set the stage for the rest of the album. They knew immediately that would be the first single and weren't going to let anybody from the record company talk them out of it. Billie Joe also mentioned that getting into the head space of a mass shooter gave him nightmares. Ordinary World is mentioned briefly, where they stated it felt like the right place to end the album because the rest of the album is chaos and then OW is a moment of clarity to finish on. If I ever figure out how to transfer videos from my Sky + box, I'll upload it. However, it does seem to get repeated often anyway in the UK so if you've got Sky, you can probably just search to see when it's next on.
