So, what's everyone's favorite B-side song by Green Day? And why is it your favourite?

Do Da Da is my favorite I think. Rotting is earporn also.

Ha Ha You're Dead off of just Shenanigans specifically, as an album. (I count it tbh)

But do Maria/JAR/P&C count? Cause then those are up there...

And Hearts Collide and Lights Out were pretty good too...

Aiight, I failed this reply. All of them.

I had Rotting on repeat for days when I got Shenanigans  it's a great track, pretty underrated, though.

I can't staaaaand it and probably purely because I can't find a range to sing it in. I cannot do that low monotone. It's awful to sing along to so I avoid it.

Poprocks and Coke is definitely up there. (which reminds me, i need to redownload that tune)

but otherwise Ha Ha You're Dead and Hearts Collide have to be my favorites.

Ha Ha You're Dead was like the fifth song I ever heard by Green Day, and I loved it. That was the song that I actually played for my sisters to introduce them to Green Day, and now they are huge Green Day fans

Too Much Too Soon and it's not even a contest. Even the musical version of that song kicks-ass.

Hearts Collide comes in at second. God, I miss B-sides.

best. intro. EVER.

the first b-side that made me lose my shit (and started me on the path to discovering tons of other cool bands...) was 'i wanna be on tv' on the GSB single.

lights out would be the best of the most recent tracks.

I think Too Much Too Soon wins in a landslide. Poprocks and Coke would be close but that wasn't really a b-side.

Desensitized, Too Much Too Soon, or Shoplifter are all essentially tied for me.

Maria! How has no one said Maria yet? That and Too Much Too Soon are the winners by a long way, then there's Desensitized, Shoplifter and Ha Ha You're Dead.

Shoplifter.

Suffocate and Rotting from Shenanigans. And I also love Governator!

Guys we don't like "list threads" so if this thread is going to stay open please make sure to talk about why you like the b side instead of just listing song titles.

You lied is pretty great.Rotting was my favorite for a while, now i can't choose my favorite but i know my favorite b-side is somewhere in shenanigans.

Like A Rolling Stone cover off 21cb

Too Much Too Soon and Shoplifter, if they swapped one of those tracks out for Extraordinary Girl, AI would have been perfect.

Governator is amazing, wish they'd play it live

Does Favourite Son count? Because I think it's a really great song that should have been included on AI.

Do Da Da, Desensitized and Ha Ha You're Dead (Shenanigans is a very good B-sides album). Still waiting for a studio version of Cigarettes and Valentines though.

This is another hard one but probably Ha Ha You're Dead and Desensitized. All the crashing round at the beginning of Desensitized still makes me laugh and probably Ha Ha You're Dead because it's a good song to vent to! Love the drums on Desensitized too.

Desensitized and yeah I love the beginning where someone sounds like they are going crazy and totally loosing their mind. Great song.
