Steven Seagull Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Happy birthday to my second favorite Green Day album with one of my favorite Green Day song of all time (Good Riddance). Dookie, Nimrod and Warning were three albums that I was listening non stop in my teenage years. The songs meant the world to me back then. It was the time when Green Day was still awesome. Songs on this album were just so awesome, catchy and simple. Fantastic album! Oh the nostalgia.
SuperXCsabre495 Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Highly underrated, but Prosthetic Head is my favorite song off of Nimrod.
End Of The World Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Yeah happy birthday Nimrod. I always think that the sound of its songs is the best in GD story. It's so clean... Nimrod, you're officially KING FOR A DAY!
Thatsername Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 It was the time when GD was still awesome? You can't let go of it for a minute, can you? I love Nimrod, but I'm refusing to answer because of this introduction and rather celebrate this birthday on my own
Billie Hoe Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Happy birthday nimrod! Also @Steven Seagull, seriously, Good Riddance is your favorite GD song of all time? You're such a sheep!

Why would you call someone who likes Good Riddance a sheep?

stories and songs Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Happy Birthday, Nimrod! I struggle to find a song on this album that's less than awesome. Some Scattered shall be played today!
Buddy Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 If I had to choose my favorite Green Day album, it probably would be Nimrod. (Even if it's actually too hard to rank these masterpieces). Love the sound and the range of styles on Nimrod.
21guns&novacaine Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 One of my favorite GD albums - I intend to have Scattered played at my graduation. Seriously love that song. The whole album is amazing, and very underrated.
greendepent Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 The lyrical nightmare turns 19. Quite funny since is the album with most songs ever released (without counting the trilogy) Funny album. Love it
Maddie86 Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 I've said "happy birthday" this month to more green day albums than to actual people
Steven Seagull Posted October 14, 2016 Author Posted October 14, 2016 Worry Rock. Now this is an awesome tune!
Dakke Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 The Grouch and Platypus. Take Back because it's different. Nimrod remains their most eclectic album and sonically one of the best. I only dislike Last Ride In.
Haushinka! Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 I love you, Nimrod! <3 What a fucking awesome record! It has so many of my favorite lyrics. The variety of the songs, the humorous undertones, and the overall production of the album is absolutely perfect!

Red Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Happy Birthday, Nimrod. This has to be one of the most varied albums the band has ever released and is packed full of amazing songs, with Scattered, Jinx/Haushinka and The Grouch being some of my personal favorites. 2 hours ago, Steven Seagull said: "It was the time when Green Day was still awesome." Just couldn't help yourself, could you
TimmyChunks Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 What an awesome album. It's never been far from reach since '97. From the 4 copies of CDs that were either broken, swiped, or misplaced throughout the end of high school and college, to the current version I have on file today, it's been a great ride. I guess this makes me 5 Nimrods deep at this point, which kind of shows you how much I love this one. I'm generally only 2-3 deep on most of my other albums (except Dookie- that one must've been 7-8 copies. And I have no idea how, but I still have original Insomniac- poor thing- it is absolutely scratched to hell. I'm a little sad for it that no one ever wanted to steal it, but very happy I still have it)!
